So yes, I’m feeling re-motivated! Honestly, writing about it helped me sooo much, so thanks to all who read and supported my moment. If anything, I’m more committed to finding ways I can do my work either when my kids are sleeping or involve them too.
This is why one of my new loves is Persicope! Why? Because I can connect directly with all of you on a weekly basis, and frankly, because I don’t have to bother with all the editing you have to do on YouTube. That doesn’t mean I’m leaving YouTube. Periscope is just a new and better way for me to share and chat with all of you. Have you tried it? It’s awesome because you can ask questions and comment in real time . . . and I can talk back! So cool, right? If you want to see an example, click HERE to watch one of my (and Landon’s) favorite’s. You can’t see all the comments because those aren’t recorded but you can get an idea of the entertainment and informational value. Though I promise, not all broadcasts will be so chaotic. What I do promise is that I keep my scopes short and sweet, ranging from 10-20 minutes.
Here’s what you need to do to catch me (and thousands of other really cool and interesting Periscopers):
[1] Download the Periscope app on your phone.
[2] Search for “SaraHaleyFit” and click follow!
[3] Join me whenever you get an alert that I’m live and watch replays online or on your phone for 24 hours.
[4] Once you’re on and watching tap the screen to give hearts for things you like. Swipe up on Android/left to right on IOS to share the broadcast.
You can also watch Periscope from a desk top. You just won’t have the ability to leave me comments live, though you can always tweet me @sarahaleyfit.
So if you’ve already been watching me on Periscope you know that I’ve been trying to figure out when and what to broadcast. I’m excited to say I have a plan in place . . . I’m going to stick with it for the next 2 weeks and then re-evaluate. So here it is . . . if you think something fits your needs please tune in and if you think it might help a friend, please share!
Mondays: #MomTalkMondays 4:44 pm PST
This week I’ll be talking about what I blogged about last week. As the feedback proved on my Facebook page, Moms struggle with this all the time. I’m hoping some of you will join in because I think that the more of us sharing our own experiences, the more supported we all feel. Plus, after last week I’ve come up with some good ways of sorting through the mess when we feel overwhelmed or frustrated.
Tuesdays: #TargetTuesdays 12:12 pm PST
This month I’ll be giving you what so many of us need . . . butt enhancers! Yes, ways to target your butt! Come workout with me or watch to get some ideas.
Wednesdays: #BumpDay #HumpDay 4:44 pm PST
After all, I am a pre and postnatal exercise specialist, so I want to dedicate one scope a week specifically to what I know best. This week I’ll be discussing one of my number one questions. “I just found out I’m pregnant. What can and can’t I do??”
Thursdays: #ThriftyThursdays 12:12 pm PST
What? No, I’m not showing you how to save money . . . well, kind of. I will be showing you ways to get a great workout in your own home with either no equipment or equipment you have right there. Last week I shared exercises you can do using your couch that will make your workouts more challenging. We will continue to focus on your butt so expect to feel sore these next two weeks.
Fridays: #FunFitnessFridays 4:44 pm PST
Fridays will be kind of a free-for-all. My kids will be with me so expect something fun for sure. My sis is visiting this week so I’m hoping she might join me. If you don’t see her, maybe you can at least catch her adorable daughter, Ella (born 2 weeks after Liam).
So that’s it. The short of it is 4:44 pm PST on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays, and 12:12 pm PST on Tuesdays & Thursdays. I hope you’re looking forward to it as much as I am! Now let’s spread the word!
