With the crazy heat here in Los Angeles, and yesterday being the official first day of summer, I thought I’d better get this pool workout up quick.
Believe it or not, one of the first classes I ever taught in New York City was an Aqua Aerobics class. If you’ve never worked out in the water, it’s so fun and so effective. It’s a low impact exercise that increases muscle strength, builds cardiovascular endurance, increases flexibility, burns calories, reduces blood pressure, and like many forms of exercise, it relieves stress.
