3 Beautycounter Must Have Sets

Before I share with you 3 beauty and skin care sets that you can’t miss out on, I want you to know why you’ve been hearing me share so much about Beautycounter lately.

In case you didn’t know, I’m 41-years old and I recently had my 4th baby. Although my decade of baby making is over, my mission to be as healthy as possible, so I can see all of my children grow and thrive is not. When my friend Annie, a fellow mom of four and cancer survivor, convinced me to order some Beauty Counter products last year I quickly fell in love with the products. When she shared more of the Beauty Counter mission with me – to demand safer products be made available for everyone – ourselves, our family, our close loved ones and ultimately the entire country, I decided it was a company I wanted to be more involved with and am now a Beauty Counter advocate. Beautycounter creates products that meet incredibly rigorous standards, while simultaneously maintaining its beauty, quality, performance, effectiveness, and safety.

My goal, as a fitness and health educator, as well as a “mommy blogger,” has always been to share what works for me and what I know to be the healthiest choices. The more I learn as a Beauty Counter advocate, the more I’ll share with you. It’s pretty sweet that their products are super awesome as well!

With that said, if you’ve been wanting to try out Beauty Counter, here are 3 sets that have some of my favorite products in them and will give you the most bang for your buck.

1. Glow Getters Trio

I mostly love this kit because it has the Overnight Resurfacing Peel, which on it’s own is $63, and the lluminating Cream Highlighter in Rose is $32, so you’re basically getting the  the Illuminating Cream for free. Moreover, you can’t even by the Illuminating Cream on it’s own, so if you want to get your hands on this hydrating cream composed of shea butter and macadamia oils, this is the only way
I’ve been wearing the Overnight Resurfacing Peel 4-5 nights a week for the past 2 months, and my skin feels amazing in the morning. I swear I’m not making this up, but I had some girlfriends over a week or so ago and they complemented me on my skin. The only change I had made was adding in the Overnight Resurfacing Peel into my weekly routines, and since it’s clinically proven to boost skin radiance, I’m pretty sure it’s the reason for newly found glow.  The Instant Glow Illuminating Cream is so hydrating this time of year and the lluminating Cream Highlighter in Rose is a highlighter and blush all in one giving you will give you some color along with a natural dewy finish.

2. Facial Oils Trio

Beautycounter is known for their oils. I’ve been using the No. 1 Brightening Facial Oil for a while now for hydration and vitamin C that helps brighten and even out your skin tone. I actually just ordered this set for myself because I heard that the No. 2 Plumping Oil smells divine and is like botox in a bottle. And since this 40-year-old breastfeeding mama isn’t trying botox anytime soon, I’m up for alternatives  And despite what you might think, oils don’t make you more oily . . . they actually balance your skin moisture levels out perfectly! The No. 3 No. 3 Balancing Facial Oil is all about balancing things out and my skin is just like my life – craving some balance!

3. Pout Perfector Lip Care Set

This set has the Better Balm in it, which is basically a stick version of the lip conditioners, which are my #1 favorite Beautycounter products. Besides the healing balm, you also get a lip polish that exfoliates and polishes and a clear lip gloss to give you the shine with no stickiness.  First apply and then wipe off the exfoliating scrub, then apply my favorite lip conditioner to moisturize, then apply the clear gloss – and BOOM – you’re out the door!
