My motivation to workout always was to be fit and capable. But now that I just learned I am pregnant, I am even more determined to maintain my fitness so that I can sustain a healthy pregnancy, feel good about my soon-to-be-expanding body, have endurance for a smooth delivery, and be strong enough to keep up with my baby as he/she grows.
My motivation for staying fit through my second pregnancy is know how much it helps during labor. Because I worked out during my first pregnancy my labor was shorter and easier. I was also able to recover after delivery much quicker.
My mom retired this past friday. Her work was so stressful that she coped, like many of us, with unhealthy habits. We made a pact, no more excuses…I am going to be her partner in life change. This morning we began full force with an hour of water aerobics! It was harder than i thought, ans I’m beyond proud of her for lasting through the whole hour. I’d love to add your video to our new repertoire!
