Some new songs on my Motivational Monday Must-Have Music list. Enjoy!

  1. Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepson – the overall vibe to this song is outrageously happy (though the individual lyrics can get a little depressing), however, I choose to interpret it as feeling empowered by having the confidence to give someone your number. It’s a great warm up song to put you in a happy mood or just a fun one to dance too (I’m using it in my Dancer’s Body Conditioning class right now).
  2. Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson – speaking of motivating lyrics, how do you beat this? ” I’m Gonna Make A Change, For Once In My Life, It’s Gonna Feel Real Good, Gonna Make A Difference, Gonna Make It Right . . .” Great for mobility and cooling down.
  3. Proud (Josh Harris Pride Extended Mix) by Heather Small – one of my favorite workout songs ever! “What have you done today to make your feel proud?” This will make you work out at a whole new level! Great for sprints!
