When I was in New Orleans for Mardi Gras last weekend, I had the fortunate opportunity to have lunch with a girlfriend I had not seen in years. She revealed to me that she is 12 weeks pregnant and recently started doing my pregnancy workout program, Expecting More™. Before pregnancy she was an avid runner and has quickly found that running just doesn’t feel right. It devastated her as she loved the feeling she would get after a run – “like I can do anything!” However, she followed this up with a big smile on her face and told me she was in week two of following my Expecting More™ program and is beyond happy because the workouts are making her feel so strong and empowered.
I was so excited to hear this because she is exactly the kind of mommy-to-be I created Expecting More™ for – the woman who needs a workout to fulfill her fitness needs and motivate her to continue workout out through her pregnancy.
