In case you haven’t heard, Expecting More™, my prenatal workout DVD program, is finally for sale! Over the past year, I poured my heart and soul into this product and am so proud of it. If you are (or know) a fit and healthy moms-to-be, this is perfect for you (or them)!
When I was pregnant I became really frustrated when I started exploring the prenatal DVD market. Even though I still worked out at the gym when I was pregnant, there were so many days during my pregnancy where I didn’t want to go to the gym, either because I was just starting to show but couldn’t really tell people (1st trimester), or I just felt strange in my new ever-changing body (2nd trimester), or sometimes I simply found it annoying because people would come up and question why I was working out at all (3rd trimester). Needless to say, in all cases an at-home DVD would have been ideal, but I found that the prenatal market was saturated with pre-natal yoga and basic training prenatal DVDs, which felt like they were catered to the pregnant woman who was either not very active prior to pregnancy or is feeling tentative about working out while pregnant. Moreover, for years, my pregnant friends had been begging me to create a pregnancy DVD (but I was pretty much against doing one until I was actually pregnant as I wanted to be authentic). Plus, I’d been spending more time working with pre and postnatal women who were giving me similar feedback. So, I realized I was going to need to make the prenatal workout program I wanted and needed. If my friends and clients were feeling like I was, then I felt that there must be a global need. Thus, my inspiration for Expecting More™…
Expecting More™ has six workouts on 2 discs with a calendar to guide you through all three trimesters. It’s a combination of all the workouts I loved doing while I was pregnant- athletic drills, dance, weight training, and dynamic flexibility. Though it is definitely catered towards the more active woman, I offer modifications and adjustments for mommies-to-be of all different fitness levels and sizes. And most of all…it is fun, fun, fun!
